What is essential to living a good life?
Integral Awareness Medicine (IAM) promotes the use of breathing, feeling, surrendering and self expressing in order to re-integrate and live from the core of our being. In reconnecting to our pristine wholeness, we heal the separated fragmented parts of ourselves, allowing us to return to our natural state of harmony and to express our inspired true self (who we really are) without resistance.
The awareness and balancing of our most fundamental biological rhythm – our breathing – is the master key to health, longevity and vitality. The breath is always with us, whether we choose to give it our attention or not.
Grounding the breath with a felt emotion and a clear intention moves us towards integration. Through this contemplative act, our mind, body and spirit start to bioharmonise together, putting us into a coherent state of flow necessary for optimal health & performance.
This is the medicine within each one of us, deep within each one of our trillions of cells – waiting to be activated by you. For those of you interested in going further, my role is to guide you through the transformational journey that lies ahead.
“To develop a complete mind: Study the science of art; Study the art of science. Learn how to see. Realize that everything connects to everything else”.
Leonardo Da Vinci
Integration has been a recurring theme throughout my life. Born from a British mother with a Kashmiri father, having a Northern European appearance with an Arabic name and growing up in Yorkshire with family in the western foothills of the Himalayas was the starting ground. This later grew into a fascination with finding the interconnections between seemingly different subjects – Sports and Art, Maths and Music, Science and Religion, Nutrition and Exercise, Biochemistry and Alchemy, Modern and Ancient Medicine…
There were also times when I found it difficult to integrate my life experiences. This led to the symptoms many of us are familiar with in today’s society. It was only after my academic learning and medical training that I began to turn the focus inward and study myself – listening to the symptoms I was experiencing as messengers from a deeper place beyond my body and mind. The messages, or feelings, were guiding me back to a state of health, peace and joy that is our original true nature. This shift in awareness opened the door to a greater understanding of what really makes us ill, and more importantly, what we can do to return to a state of balance, harmony and flow again.
I blend a variety of different approaches, tools and techniques into my practice – all are based on the principles found in Nature. They are intended to access and reconnect you with your innate intelligence which already knows how to heal and thrive in the world.

CONSULTATIONS
A One to One talk about your health and/or performance issues. The intention is to gain a clearer knowledge and understanding about what obstruction is leading to your sub-optimal health and/or performance.
Once we know what the main imbalance is, we can then start to do something about it.
THERAPIES
In the process of returning to your vital state of health, Integral Awareness Medicine (IAM) uses the principles of the five primordial elements to find the right solutions to your problems and reconnect you to the radiance within.
The Art of Being
How separate have you become from the oneness of your integral Self?
It all starts with you, the non-judgmental compassionate Observer.
You are who you are.
Are you experiencing pain and suffering? Is there something your subconscious is trying to communicate to you? What messages are you sending back to your subconscious through your breathing?
We all know how to breathe, but many of us have forgotten how to breathe optimally. Since the average person breathes around 20,000 breaths per day, this vitally important part of living is worthy of study and appreciation.
Even the slightest improvement in the way you breathe can have significant positive impacts not just in your health and well-being, but in every area of your life.
Have your mind and body become stagnant or are you overdoing it?
Once we are on our way to breathing more optimally, we are in a much better position to move our body while reducing the risk of accidents and injuries. Since breath itself is a subtle movement, it is the starting point and pre-requisite for all gross physical movements.
With conscious movement comes conscious power. As a result, you are able to intentionally generate heat and transform your physical world whilst maintaining harmony with the natural order.
What are your mind and body’s unique needs? How do you know if they are being met?
We all need food to eat, water to drink, air to breathe and sunlight to keep warm. However, rapidly changing environments, convenience foods, quick fix diets, biohacking and half-baked misleading information surrounding this area of health have made good nutrition increasingly complex and confusing.
When it comes to your eating, drinking and fasting habits, finding the right balance between the what, the when, the why and the how can be easy, elegant and effective for you.
Are you trying to understand yourself and the world around you through your mind and intellect alone? Have you neglected your body and feelings in the process?
In today’s fast paced go-go-go society we tend to carry around excessive tension in our body-mind without even realising it. Learning to pause, release and let go is becoming an increasingly important skill if we are to thrive in the modern world.
Developing the ability to consciously relax on demand, you can feel lighter and see the beauty and joy in life, whatever the circumstances.
